6V Wire SIZE

6V Wire SIZE
I did a search... but didn't find a good answer.
I want to re-wire my 53 F100.
I have a wiring diagram....
I need something that will tell me the various wire sizes needed.
Yeah, I know I can buy a harness...
NO I still don't want to convert to 12v... (thanks)
Does anyone have a diagram that includes wire sizes?
Thanks in advance,

Earl's site has it.... http://www.clubfte.com/users/earl/Re...html#1956Truck Wiring Diagrams
(link looks wrong) Below the '56 12v diagram is a '53 6v diagram with sizes

Confused by one circuit..
I understand the wire that runs "to" the amp/charging gauge goes through the loop on the back of the gauge to measure the current. The wiring diagram shows a 12 gauge running from the regulator to the light switch to the amp gauge...... but then a 10 gauge wire running to the solenoid/battery.
How/where do you switch from 10 to 12 gauge?
