Need a 1949 F1 Transmission

Hello,
I am in California looking for a for a decent 3-speed Borg Warner transmission for a 1949 (early 1950) Ford F1. Light duty. Top Loader.

Any suggestions or leads appreciated.

I dont have the tranny your seeking, but surly someone will come along and steer you in the right direction. I just wanted to say hello and welcome to the foroum.

I have a spare trans like your looking for but you are about 2000 miles away, that would cost more to ship than it's worth.

I'm planning on pulling mine this fall, and replacing it with a T-5 so you have another option. not much closer though!

I also have a hd 3 speed trans from an F-1 but im in Salt Lake!

Sorry that I didn't have one for your truck (although I have two LD 3 spd transmissions from 51/52) when you called me a few days ago.

I'll keep an eye out for you.

I found a guy in So.-Cal. who has the trans I need. I am going to go get it this weekend.
