i just posted a want ad for the spring on the hood handle mech. i thought i would follow up with a heads up in this forum. it's the spring that holds the handle in the forward position. this is not the flat coil spring on the latch, it's more of a spring wire wound deal. i may see if i can find a generic that will fit. thanks, dick r.
