Updates to Ol'Blue, Two weekends of hard work

I just finished with two hard weekends of work on the 52 Panel. Wasn't happy with the amount of airflow from the A/C (110-115 degree heat index here in the Florida Panhandle) and my bed was rotting out at the back corners. Yep, panel trucks leak like a sieve. Also wasn't happy with the audio deck, cd player had died. The upholstry was coming apart and getting knicked up. Bought a piece of 3/4 oak plywood, put 6 coats of marine polyurethane on the bottom side, 7 coats of floor polyurethane on the topside, cut in the A/C ducts where the original speaker use to be, and reupholsted the whole dash and console. Glad its done!

Thanks. I have really enjoyed this truck. I use it as an advertising vehicle for my real estate company. Over the past 5 years, I have put over 60,000 miles on it almost entirely in a two county area. Driving it that much and trying to keep it looking good, running good is labor of love but time consuming if you know what I mean.
