Searched the forum but no luck. I kept getting silver flakes and dirty fuel in my primary filter. Thought I had gotten some bad fuel and tried several filter changes but no luck. Ok, gotta drop the tank and clean it. What a mess when I took the sending unit out. The upper half of the tank is very rusty and the silver flakes? Looks like the inside of the tank was coated with something and it is coming off. I bought this truck new and have been very particular about where I buy my fuel. No problems with my 08 F250 with fuel from the same locations, yea I know the 08 tank is not metal. Anybody have this problem?

In the heavy equipment, I make them keep them as close to full as we can. Condensation will build in the tank and it will look like a water tank real quick.
