What would you get
Hey folks. Barely squeezing 13 MPG out of my lowly 4.6 F-150, I've been jonesin to get what I originally wanted, a V10. Might as well get bad MPG and be able to enjoy it right? Haha. That and other reasons are why I'm looking to sell my F-1 but anyhow.
Between these two, what do you think? Which one is more likely to blow plugs? Haven't seen them in person yet but going to on Monday. Obviously there are other factors in which one to buy but just go on what you see here.

X2 on the '01 XLT as the first choice. If it has been up for sale a while, work the price down or walk away and keep looking. The V10, I'm told will go 300K+ but you're buyin' a whole lot more life with the '01.
Be sure to check the undercarriage for rust, in the event one was from up north.

What everyone else said.
I see there are new tires on the XLT, sometimes (not always the case) people or dealerships will install new tires to cover up tweeked suspension issues that would be shown in old tires. If you can take the XLT out to another shop and have an alignment machine hooked up to check out the specs.

I agree, the front fender and door do not match up so well on the XLT. Like I said I haven't been to look at them yet but will be going on Monday for more info, history reports, etc.
And no, these aren't the only two options but I'm basically looking to reduce my debt. So I figure I might as well get something I enjoy. And if I could get them down to 5-6k on the EB, that would be even better.

I don't see a problem with the color on the X. The front appears to be next to a door or window and under natural light. The rear is indoors under fluorescent lighting. "Cool Whites" are notorious for color shifting.
There's a reasonable progression of color change probably due to lighting.
