XD Rockstar wheels

Guys, anyone running the rockstars? Are these wheels universal fit? I see that they have more than 8 lug holes for different mountings. I was thinking in buying a set of the new machined/black rockstars in 18" for my truck and would like your opinion on them........

Yeah, EVERYONE is running Rockstars.

Opinion? If I can't say anything nice, I won't say anything at all.

Depend on your neck of the woods, I am one of the only trucks around running the rockstars, I like them but the center caps rotted in the winter so I painted them black.

Has anyone ever price out what it would cost to have a set of existing wheels powder coated matte or gloss black? I like my wheels, just don't like polishing them!

I don't disagree with Cody often, but this is one of those rare circumstances. I think they look great.

Wolfrace.......Thats a nice looking truck. The mounting or the bolt holes on your rockstars, do they have eight holes or do they have additional holes for other applications?
I have a 4x2, with a leveling kit and have been trying to find a nice used set of 04 Harley wheels. The one's I have been able to find are either in poor shape or the owner thinks they are worth over 2K, which I'm not willing to pay. So, I think the new rockstars, black and machined are the very close in look and I have not seen anyone here in Miami running them.

i have a buddy that has them wheels on his "bro'ski'd out" crap basket dodge, one of the spokes was cracked all the way though the wheel! they replaced it for free! now it's doing it again!! personally i think they are a cheap wheel! he says it's from abuse!

*he does power-break them 38" mudgrapplers & 20's something nasty!

but an 8 lug wheel should be stronger than that!

I've got a set of 5 spoke 20" factory wheels off an '06 Lariat if you'd be interested. They need 2" spacers which I have, still a lot of rubber on the tires too. I'm guessing shipping could be cost prohibitive, but basically the cost of new 20" tires and you'd be set up. Shoot me a PM if you want pics.

They are only 8 hole, I run mine year round +40c to -40c and the only issue I have had is the center caps they are more durable then any other rim I have ran. Everything you run up north here rot in the winter these do not.
