Fuel pump???

It's *going to be process of elimination fellas thank u SOOO much for all the advice and info I couldn't do this without your input*

So far I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator, EGR valve and fuel filter yet I'm still having the same problem. So needless to say it's still running the same. So here is what I posted prior!!!

]Here is what's new. Mechanic said it could be the EGR and a fuel pump

I have a 95 with a 460 *Can a bad EGR make my truck run like it's miss firing??? *but there is no back firing. It actually has gotten worse over the last few days and actually shut off on me to today RPM's got really low and just died but restarted. It sometimes shuts off when shifted into reverse and if it doesn't shut off the RPM's drop really low and wants to shut off.*

And secondly my mechanic said the codes were saying that it could also be a bad fuel pump. But I have the dual tanks and it runs the same on each tank so I was wondering if there is a external fuel pump? If so where would it be? And could this make the truck act like this?

A bad EGR or EGR controller can cause all kinds of weird issues. I'd replace the EGR. Oh and I agree with you fuel pump thinking.
