I guess it depends what you're looking for and why you want the covers.
I looked at seat covers, and then decided to spend a couple hundred bucks more and just put a Katzkin leather interior in my truck. I'm VERY happy with it and I'd reccommend it to anyone thinking about it.
Here are the ford covers. They look horrible in the pic because I just took them out of the box and installed them, but I likey... Took 1/2 hour to install, fit is nice, removable for washing will be a snap.
I've got the Carhart ones. I keep the rear on for the dog (lost that battle, too).. Haven't tried the front ones with the cooled seats, but I guessing they won't work too well. The fabric is pretty tight and will wear like iron.
Here they are before I washed them. They fit a lot better after being washed

For a Ford OEM product, I would have expected a lot better than that...
for a comfortable seat cover its more about what its made out of. most of the fabrics including the stock seat upholstery is synthetic material that doesn't breath well at all. its about like sitting on a vinyl seat or a trash bag. I have been running sheep skin covers from costco, it was about $40 bucks and they are really comfy. get in the truck after working hard with back sweat and sweaty ***** and they breath and wick the moisture away from your body. this is something that only the wool covers are going to be able to pull off.
