Muffler?

I put a 70 series BB flow master on my Excursion. Every time I hit the gas I look in rear view mirror for that Honda that's chasing me around. So of course I hate it!!!! Any one got a better muffler solution? I would put the stock one back on but it's gone.

Really? I have the same muffler on mine and it's SO quiet that I keep having to look at the tach to make sure the engine is still running. It makes mine sound really nice, especially if I get on the gas (which I try NOT to do with a V-10).

Hmm.... I have BB50 and it is not ricey at all... Very close to stock, just a touch louder and deeper tone. Keep in mind that a v10 will NEVER sound like a v8...

Where is the exhaust tip exiting?

The Y-pipe is what the sound is from IF you have the stock manifolds which I bet you do. Regardless of what muffler you put on there it is going to sound weird with the aftermarket y-pipe and stock manifolds. A set of shorty headers should get rid of the weird sound. The stock manifolds are horrible and the root cause of exhaust "flutter".
