Sanderson headers on f100 FE
I just purchased and I am installing the Sanderson ff427 headers that are supposed to bolt right up to '53 and up f100 with FE motor. The driver side fits fine but the passenger side will not clear the motor mount. Did anyone have this issue or does anyone have ideas on how I can move the motor mount about 1.5 inches over.

I don't have an answer to your question, but for the money they charge, (not that they aren't worth it) I'd be on the horn to Sanderson, pronto, if I had an issue like that. Chances are, they have an answer. There may be a different mount they recommend using. That doesn't sound like something unique to the application if they truly interfere with the motor mount.

Try Sanderson first, but I have heard of issues with them (that's why I went with a local supplier, that had them in stock and would take returns). Do you have some pics?, I have a '54 with a 390, homemade crossmember and a Toyota p/s box... so it's TIGHT. I went with the FF390 and had to modify the last tube for the p/s lines and box.
