have you checked on the RV sites?
Not saying they know more... but more people have toads to tow.

I would think that you don't have to do anything special because the jeep weighs nearly nothing.

I would use tow/hual mode when you plan on hitting any hills for sure. Flat open road you should be fine leaving it in with od on. Play with it and and see what works best for you. I did drive a rv with a v10 once and used the tow/hual on 6% grade it seemed to work the best but for flat ground extra gear was fine. Just dont be in a hurry. 30 to 35 was it on the big hills.

It's a 02 so no Tow/Haul just a OD button. Let the computer decide the gear unless it's hunting in and out of OD then lock out the OD. I'm guessing the chassis for a motor has a different program than the Super Duty has to keep it in the gears longer and a different downshift pattern for engine braking. Remember your driving a shoe box down the road with lots of wind resistance.

I would highly recommend getting a tuner from 5 Star with a tow tune. Mike usually sets the transmission to stay in 3rd until around 60-65mph and will help to prevent hunting even with the OD on. The tune basically makes the entire truck work better. You can let the OD on all the time but if any gear "hunting occurs between third and OD turn it off manually. With the stock tune you will notice the trans will hunt for gears a lot more.

It's not a truck it's a Motor Home F53 Chassis

Yes, get a good tune, an AFE or equivilant air intake system, and a Magnaflow exhaust with new Y pipe. You'll get more power and some aditional mileage help.
