Checkout Bob's FatFenderedTruck website. The F-1 thru F-6 cabs all interchange. If you look on Ebay and/or local Craigslist, you should be able to find some F-1 cabs in good condition that can be swapped onto your truck.
Thank you very much. I was not sure if all of the series were interchangeable. I will check out your recommendations.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o> <o></o> Thanks again. <o></o>

Actually F1-F8 cabs interchange. Just stay away from the COE cabs. The front lower portion of the cabs are different than the conventional cabs.
You should be able to pick up a complete F4-F8 truck failry cheap as they're not as much in demand. Most will have decent cabs becasue they've been left sitting and unusued for many years.
Someone will chime in with a cab....but just out of curoiosity, what is wrong with the one that you have?
Dan
I bought the truck from the original owners. in 1949, they bought the truck and had a body (from the firewall back) fabricated at a ship yard to use as a produce truck. I am restoring it into a pick up.

Sounds like an interesting conversion. Please post pictures. We'd love to see this "oddity".
