Nice Trip
Good people,
I came on here a couple weeks ago mentioning I was taking a trip and things I need to do. I ended up just getting an oil change and hit the road! My truck 2006 F250 Stroker Lariat held the road like a heavyweight CHAMP!! I was able to maintain a good MPG the whole way on the highway (about 19mpg), and did not have any problems what-so-ever. I usually travel in one of my older Cadillacs (89 Brougham or 84 Deville) while very comfy, they dont have the passing power of the PSD. Once that turbo kicked in, it was all she wrote! :-) The straight pipe (and maybe a little soot) let the people know, big diesel coming through, haha.
It was about a 2500 mile journey as I went from Atlanta to DC to NYC then back to Atlanta. One thing I must say, I feel for the truck owners that live up there, because parking is next to impossible!! Either way, thanks to everyone for their help! Definitely looking forward to many more epic road trips...
Cheers,
