Painting Interior of Cab

Well Im in the middle of a frame off restoration of my 1975 F250 and am waiting for parts. So i thought i would start prepping the cab for paint.

I was planning on coating the entire interior with some kind of undercoating like Rhinoliner, Herculiner or whatever. Have any of you guys ever done this? I was wondering of the pros and cons of using this kind of material to coat the interior.

And if you have any other alternative to painting/coating the interior please share. Im always open to better ways of doing this as this is my first time restoring a vehicle being im only 17 years old. Thanks for any info you guys can give me.

I tore out the old crappy carpet in my truck and rolled on some Rustoleum bed liner. Came out pretty good:

Al's liner: I sprayed it but I dont think I had enough pressure to the gun. Just came out with more texture.

Thanks for the pic, looks great! I have 2-1/2 gallons Herculiner, got it on sale when K-mart folded locally. I am planning on a good heavy coat in the cab floor and foot wells and back wall ... and if enough, the bed.

When I start the repairs on my interior, I am going to do the Al's Liner thing to mine too. I like the looks and performance of the Al's Liner, not to mention that it's a DIY product. I'm thing about doing my interior (which will be covered by the rubber/plastic mat), the bed, behind some of the body panels, under the cowl panel, and some of the underside of the truck. I'm hoping that the money saved on labor will allow me to cover more area with the product.

2-1/2 gallons?
How much did you use just on the cab?
Did you spray or roll on?
How did the texture work for you?

My first plan was to use it in the bed, then I decided later to use it for the cab and if not enough, let Line-X do the bed.

What you are seeing is a 1/2 gallon and it was barely enough but I might have laid it on thick. I went up the back of the cab maybe 3 inches.
