hey guys i have a freshly rebuilt motor in my f150 work truck it is a 5.0 with long tubes straight pipes accel distributer lokar kickdown cable just some minor things after installing the motor and driving around for a for weeks sometimes outta the blue at stop signs it will just stall right out if ive been cruzing 60 then go to stop and then when its ideling everyknow and then it will bounce from 800rpms to 20 0rpms then back to 500 rpms. i changed the fuel filter plugs and wires, cleaned the throtle postion senor and replaced. some locals around the race track say to delete my egr. can i get some help here guys thanks

Sounds like a sticky IAC(idle air control) motor(little can bolted on by the throttle body). It's a simple air valve and it if sticks OPEN, it will lean the motor out and make it stall. Two small bolts removes it(don't tear the gasket), unplug it and spray some brake clean in it. It uses just a simple cone to seal and if it's gets gummed up it will either leak or stick.
My '89 needs it cleaned about every 5-6 months, cheaper then the $80 they want for a new one.
