Been chasing a rattling sound for a long time and finally figured out it was the pass side autolock hub. If I bump it with my fist it moves and makes the sound I have been hearing. If I lock the hub the noise goes away. About 20,000 miles ago I rebuilt both sides with new ESOF seals, grease seals and new Torrington bearings. Since that time I have put synthetic grease in the hubs twice thru the ABS hole. What do I need to do now?

 

Maybe the snap ring that retains it has backed out? My Mile Markers rattled until I added an additional spiraloc snap ring to take up some extra space.

 

So you just doubled them up? For now I think I'll try new OEM snap rings and o rings from diesel o rings. If that doesn't do it I'll try your idea.
