17" steel wheel options?

Hoping to find a "stock" 17" wheel for my Ex that is not an "aftermarket" wheel. With our odd backspacing and lug pattern it seems we are much more limited than those with newer Super Duty's. Anyone know of a 17" steel wheel with proper backspacing (ideally more than stock) that would work without spacers?

I have an affinity for the stock black look, have heard them called winter wheels, on other trucks. I know with other makes you just head to the junkyard and pull some spare tires/wheels off and use those. Considering the Super Duty's of our vintage all use 16" wheels I don't think I will find what I am after.

Random link to a Dodge version similar to what I am looking for.

I don't think anything short of a 2004 SD steel spare will fit your bill short of newer models and using spacers.

Thanks Matt, I haven't come across any factory/stock 17" wheels for a Super Duty before 2005. I hope I am wrong as that would be the perfect solution, any chance you have a link or pic? I tried Rock Auto and others with no luck thus far...back to the interwebs for more searching...

You can have a set of newer 17"s recentered.

I had a set of wheels done about 10 years ago, works fine and was cost effective for my needs.

Here is the newer rim.

Thanks Camo, can't say I had considered getting a newer wheel recentered. I wish the BFGoodrich KO2 was available larger than the 315 for a 16" wheel but obviously that is not the case.

With the price of spacers some simple black aluminum wheels might be the best choice if I decide to make the move to 17's.

Bump this thread, Im looking for the same thing.

Are you saying that in 2004 there was a 17" steel wheel option for Super Duty? I don't see anything but the 16s.

No, Matt was maybe a bit mistaken, the '04 pickups that came with the rare 18"s all had steel 16" spares. Prior to the big suspension changes in '05 the ONLY 16"+ OEM Super Duty wheels were the '04 Harley Davidson, King Ranch, Lariat and SVT 18"s all of which are very similar aluminum five spokes.
