It is an HD 250, 7.3L. I was just confused by the terminology.

Did they even offer the 4 speed manual with the 7.3?

They did, you could order a manual four speed transmission (T-19) up until 1993. Most people got the 5 speed (ZF) when it was available though. Any decoder that shows it as a four speed overdrive is wrong though.

I've e-mailed Ford for the build sheet.. It seems unlikely that someone would have swapped a 4 speed for a 5 speed, but I suppose possible in the last 21 years.
