04 parking brake and valve cover gaskets

ive been lucky and havent had to do more than normal service on my Ex. i think the parking brake pads are shot and the driversside valve cover gasket is leaking. valve cover looks straight forward, is there any special tools other than drum brake stuff needed to swap the ebrake pads?

You really won't even need the regular drum brake tools to change the parking brake shoes. The shoe retainer springs are more like a folded piece of spring steel. You'll probably find that either a needle nose pliers used like a spanner wrench or a flat blade screwdriver will be what you use for those. Everything else should be pretty straight forward. They are a bit of a bear though. Since they are so small, there's little clearance between them and the axle hub.
