My 1948 F-7 has the original 337 flathead with original vacume assist brakes. The truck has not been running for 3+ years. The vacume brakes were working great when it last ran. Fired up the engine today and the brake pedal goes to the floor. I hear the 'chuff' sound of the vacume part when I step on the pedal. So, I'm assuming that part works. Where do I start trouble shooting / where to begin?

If you don't sort it out with input from guys here, I'd suggest calling Chuck Mantiglia at Chuck's Trucks. He's got an F-7 and will have your answer. Plus probably will have the parts you need to put it back in service. Below is his link. Stu

its could be this and it can be rebuild .. you can still buy a new one
