confusing missfire

confusing missfire

hi i have a 1996 7.3 di and i am having miss fire issues when i start it up latley it will have a miss fire but after a few minutes it goes back to normal and while im driving sometimes it will lose power and go back to normal does any one have some ideas i was thinking injectors or mabe valve cover gasket wiring any help would be greatly appreciated

I could be the VC gaskets. It could also be the CPS, that's a cheap one to eliminate.

X2! Very likely the harnesses. Pull the connectors on the valve covers and check for burnt pins. There are four. Two on each valve cover.

Haha Im proud of it! If I knew everything then I wouldnt need you guys

Oh and TOTALLY gotta be the harnesses!

FRIDAY!!!! Tranny seals fixed..."No metal shards in the pan" Good news! My 16x10 Procomp wheels get delivered next Thursday! And my 315/75r16 BFGoodrich All Terrain KO get delivered next Friday!
CANT WAIT! Gunna be a good one.. YEEHAW
