I'm looking into beefing up my trans this winter with out breaking the bank has anyone ever used this kit or know anyone that has. I want something that will hold 350ish hp

How hard is it to build/rebuild a transmission on your own anyway? With correct tools and parts on hand and the transmission already out for you. What are you looking at in time?

I called Racer X today and got a price with TC,valve body, high performance band, ring and plate kit, red eagle extra clutch kit and im at about 1400.00 i forgot to ask about a input shaft. i think i can gat a prtty strong trans for 2k

yep, at a 1000hp a BTS only what $4 or $5 per HP? Its not an option for everyone.

Oh and for 1000HP you can have a RacerX trans for $3 to $4 per hp.
