Well...I know the oil change interval is different from one person to another but I feel like the oil starts going down hill after 5k. so I change mine every 5k miles.
Fuel Filter every 10k (every other oil change)
Trans filter Every other fuel filter change (20k)
I know that may be a bit excessive but my 03 6.0L treats me good in return.

Typical Breakdown for me is as follows:
Oil - 5-6k Reg (Syn 7-8k unless you're running a pypass filter and testing it)
Fuel Filters - Every other oil change or 12k
Transmission - Fluid and Filters 30k
Air Filter - 45k
Coolant -50k
Anything else is on an as-required basis. (Oil Cooler rebuild, tires, brakes, etc.)

If you don't already have one check out the maintenance schedule at the following website. It will provide a complete breakdown of maintenance intervals for your vehicle.

Oil - 5-6k Reg (Syn 7-8k unless you're running a pypass filter and testing it) (I agree)
Fuel Filters - Every other oil change or 12k (between 10,000miles and 15,000miles I have changed mine at 10,0000 the set I am on now will be changed at 12,000, I will also be changing them at 12 from now on due to price of the filters, I want to get more of my moneys worth)
Transmission - Fluid and Filters 30k (check out my link)
Air Filter - 45k (good, or sooner ig the restriction gauge tells you)
Coolant -50k (I would rather get a coolant filter and do a very good flush, and go longer.)
Anything else is on an as-required basis. (Oil Cooler rebuild, tires, brakes, etc.)

My thoughts,
Oil = 5k miles, using synthetic, with a few UOA to make sure the viscosity is holding up.
Fuel filters = 10k miles, but the truth is that our fuel is so clean that I'm throwing away perfectly good filters.
Transmission = 30k miles fluid change, using hot flush machine at the dealer, with external filter change ever other time (60k). Pan is never opened.
Air filter = when the filter minder says, but I changed mine at 75k because I was tired of waiting around for the message.
Coolant = 50k, complete flush and change. I don't bother testing it thus far, since it should easily last 50k.
Differentials = 50k on the rear. On the front I just do a finger tip check on the condition. Doesn't get used that much.
Transfer case = 50k
4WD U-joints = 10k (ever other oil change)
Power steering fluid = 50k (but it actually was at 30k and again at 80k)
Brake fluid = 50k (but I'm way past due, still on the original)

I've been using motorcraft 15W 40 in my truck since new and changing every 5,000 miles or so. Is there any reason why I should/should not switch to a full synthetic oil(Rotella T6 5W-40) at this point? My truck has about 93,000 miles on it. I'm worried that I may develop new oil leaks or cause any small leaks to get worse. Anyone have this occur as a result of switching this late?

I switched to 5w40 syn just because I like synthetic oils but most of all it helped in the wind whipped cold winters....

Sure. I don't know anyone who changes them at less than 10k miles. Some guys carry a spare set on the road. Not me, but it's not a bad idea. You never know when Bubba's Diesel Stop will pump your tank full of gunk.
