i did read the main post this thread pervious to posting mine.Very good write up on that one xjcamaro89.Maybe i need to reread it because didnt quite find what i was looking for.Trying to find where the bottom line on the iwe goes one end comes from the air box behind the battery, the other end is t'ed into the iwe the other end is cut shortly past the t.So trying to find where this mysterious other end goes.there is no line on this t branch that goes to the port behind the intake manifold. my first guess would be there.I'll reread but any help is appriciated thanks.

Im not seeing any cut lines. You should have one line coming off the intake somewhere, depending on your motor. That line should go to the top of the IWE solenoid. From the bottom of the IWE solenoid it T's off and one line goes to the box between the battery and the fender, the other line starts down towards the wheel well. At that point i beleive it T's again and each line goes to each front wheel to the IWE actuator which is mounted on the backside of the spindle. From each IWE actuator is a vent tube (which you might be talking about) it comes back up through the wheel well into the engine bay and is just left open (maybe looks like it is cut).

Ya the one bottom line should go down into the wheel well and T off at some point to go to the other wheel. If that line is severed then your wheels are locked in all the time. But not in 4WD.
What you could do is is either find the lines that go to each wheel and just use a chunk of vacuum line to patch the section missing, or from that cut line, use some vacuum line and run your own lines where ever you want down to each wheel and connect it to the bigger of the two vacuum ports on the IWE actuator.
But since it looks like someone hacked the vacuum system, you might want to get a good vacuum guage from the parts store so if you do the repairs you can check all the lines once finished to make sure you dont have any leaks. You will probably want to check the IWE actuators to make sure they are holding vacuum and releasing like the should. If they are not, then you will need new ones, cause at that point it wont matter what you do with the vacuum lines, if the IWEs dont hold vacuum or release then your wheels will stay locked.
