Mark VIII fan

Scored today at the junkyard. Lincoln mark VIII dual fan, radiator, tranny cooler, and engine oil cooler in good shape for $53. Going to mount it all in my 1977 F100 rebuild. Need to find a good controller, and engineer some mounts, but I'm stoked.

Um a mark VIII only has a single fan. The continental has a dual. Different fan.

I know all the web shows a single fan, but isn't this a Mark VIII? Have to admit I've never paid much attention to Lincolns.

I'm happy with what I got either way.

OK, it is a continental fan. Not the first mistake I've ever made. It is still going to be bad-ss when I get it all mounted right.

I'm sure it's still going to cool just fine. Sounds like a good score anyway.

I have the single Taurus fan in my 77 F100 and I was driving all over the other day in 90^ plus heat and never even needed the high setting.

Alpha, are you worried about that top push though mount being at such an angle like that? It seems like it may put wear on the radiator and cause a hole from vibrations.
