I see you're the only person who addressed this and it's been ignored by the rest, including the OP. In addition to doing what you suggested here, he also needs to shift more weight to the tongue, this based on what he posted as to tongue weight, it's far from enough. That trailer is "*** heavy" and that's his biggest problem with sway. It's a 7,000 lb trailer and only 1000 of it is on the front end.
Howdy! If you have an idea to fix this I am all for it.. The trailer's interior design doesn't allow me to really throw anything else up front. My heaviest toy (razor) sits over the 3 axles..
Just to clarify I don't have any sway under normal conditions. It's just when wind kicks up that giant wall behind me is a lot of sqft it seems to me.
Open to good ideas!
