02 senssor wiring question

Hey, on a 96 f150 4.9, is the wiring color and layout the same on the upstream 02 connect as a earlier f150. I have a haynes book that has a diagram for 92+ f150 and its showing different color wires and different power and ground locations on the 02 connector. I thought that the 96's were different due to the obdII systems, and reading a post about this 97...

the wiring sounds like what mine is.... very confused. Any help would be great.

Thanks
-Jesse

I believe i'm looking at the one on the left. I have solid red, yellow/blue, grey(looks like white)/red, and red/black.

The weird thing is that the yellow/blue has 12volts.

Correct me if im wrong, but i thought the RED was the only wire that was supposed to have power.

If the computer is not grounding the yellow/blue it would have 12 VDC on it.

Yeah, Im pretty sure my ecm is the problems. Thats the only reason for this issue. I've read a few other posts that describe this same problem and the resolution was replacing the computer.
