NEED WIRING DIAGRAM FOR 1986 F-250
SOME OF THE WIRES IN MY TRUCK DON'T MATCH THE COLORS FROM THE FUEL WIRING DIAGRAM SHOWN FOR DUEL TANK HOOK UP. I HAVE THE 460 CI ENGINE. MY PRESSURE SWICH HAS 3 WIRIES GOING TO IT. THE WIRIES TO THE TANK SELECTOR RELAY IN MY TRUCK ARE A DIFFERANT COLOR THAN SHOWN IN WIRING DIAGRAM SUPPLYED BY FRANKLIN2. WHATS THE DEAL?.

What colors are the wires going to the pressure switch? Not sure why you would need 3 wires going to it.
My diagrams in my Haynes show the tank switching all done at the dash switch. Some other people have come up with diagrams that show two relays, one to power the pumps and one to select the pumps. Instead of the dash switch directing the power to the correct pump, the switch selects the relay and the relay directs the pump power.
All of them show the fuel guage switching done at the fuel switching valve on the frame.

MY MISTAKE. I HAVE 2 WIRIES GOING TO PRESS. SWITCH. BUT I HAVE 2 RELAYS.THE COLOR OF WIRIES ON ONE MATCHS WIRE DIAGRAM FOR FUEL PUMP CUT OFF RELAY WITH A YELLOW GOING TO INERTIA FUEL CUT OFF. THE WIRIES ON THE OTHER RELAY ARE A WHITE WIRE WITH A RED STIPE, A BLACK WIRE WITH A WHITE STRIPE AND IS HOT ALL THE TIME, 1 BRN WIRE AND 1 BLACK WIRE. THE WIRIES ON MY DASH SWITCH ARE 2 RED, 1 BLK, 2 BRN, 1 PINK WITH BLACK STRIPE. I'M NOT GETTING ANY POWER TO DASH SWITCH.

Yes, I still have the one from mine, it is part of the HVAC control panel, but can be removed. Thank you for undoing your caps lock!
Are you sure the switch is bad? These systems are powered in one of two ways, when cranking, through the blue fusible link on the starter relay, and when running through the resistance wire from the relay to oil pressure switch actuates. Unless either power source exists, nothing except whichever gauge sender was last active will work.
