I'm always amazed at how large SUV's (Excursion or Suburban) are demonized for their poor MPG, but the same vehicle with a bed on it isn't (F250-F350 Super Duty or other full size trucks). When I see large SUV's they usually have 2 or more kids with at least one adult. Almost every full size truck I see has only one occupant. So which is worse?
The X just made a big target for the enviro-wackos!
And how are they calculated? It really seems a lot more like someone's opinion than actual facts. I would love to see a comparison of loss in value for all the different trucks/suv's so we could have actual data. For instance, how does a H2 Hummer hold up?
