I've been a member of the American Truck Historical Society for about 12 years now. They put out a great bi-monthly magazine, Wheels of Time that has very good articles on trucks and trucking history. You'll also receive an issue of Show Time which has photos of all the trucks attending the national show, usually at least 500 antique trucks. They also have a web site American Truck Historical Society that has a very active discussion forum.
I have three antique trucks, a '51 White WC22PLT with Jumbo cab, '56 White WC22PLT and a '59 White 4400TD. The '56 and '59 are restored and taken to shows. I'm also president of our local ATHS chapter, the East Texas Wildcatters.

Been a member since 97.... The Wheels of time magazine alone is worth the membership. The people you meet at the national & regional shows are a great, and so are the trucks.

Good for you, welcome aboard. I am leaving Saturday for South Bend IN. for the ATHS national convention. There will be hundreds of trucks there and a solid week of nothing by trucks and truck talk. Lots of fun for anyone that likes big trucks and trucking history.

I did a one day banzai run up to the South Bend show. Took the camera, then found the battery was dead! But luckily, one of the Studebaker Truck Talk guys was better prepared and shared this Photobucket link to his pics from the show. Studebaker was the featured marque, but there were a lot of nice Fords. IIRC, there were around 900 trucks there. Stu
