Lookin to buy a ford again!

Well i traded my old ford for a jeep better mileage and more room for family but turned it into a nice off roader but now im down to only one vehicle and my gf drives my jeep to work...so now that i have some extra cash i found an 85 ford f250 on CL for $1200 has only 120,000 miles, 460, 4 speed, and just needs tires(no big deal looking to go 35's). Good deal?

I paid 1200 for mine but it needed a little work done...the tires were good so I think it was a good deal. Wouldn't hurt to offer 1K and see what happens though.

That is a nice looking truck wonder what other kind of work has been done to it do you think that the guy who painted it liked John Deere would it be easier to read my sentences if I actually broke them up into sentences?

All joking aside, it would be easier to read your posts if you used some more punctuation. I really like that truck, and I would definitely try to talk them down a little. You never know what gremlins are hiding under the rusted body...

As much as I love our generation of trucks, I would buy the 75. But know what you are getting into (if any non stock to your year changes have been made so you know what you will need for parts when something breaks...)

And don't worry too much about my grammar pickiness. I just like to let people know so others can read and comprehend their posts better. It helps everyone in the long run.

Contestant: "Pat, I'd like to buy some punctuation and capitalization, please."
Pat Sajak: "I'm sorry, but you can only buy vowels."
Contestant: "Damn!"

I hope I don't regret suggesting one over the other. It's great that you got it, I hope you enjoy it.

Just know that all of these trucks need a little love (and shared knowledge from these forums).

..... And blood sweat and tears make them run even better.

Ya a few dents, but the paint is almost new and has very little rust, but it runs like a top so that makes up for it
