Save your money the Haynes 09 Ford pick up manual for 2004 thru 2009 it is a waste of money its almost a repeat of the earlier models hardly any info for the 09. They forgot about the wiring and that there was a 3 valve 4,6. What a big disappoint for a 09 F150 I cant say enough bad thing about it.
Haynes is very general and basic, I was never a fan either, I used Chilton for some of the older cars I have owned and to me it's a much informative manual.
Helm (helminc.com) has all the original factory service manuals for these trucks (and more), because they have printed all of FoMoCo's service literature since the late 1940's.
There are all sorts of manuals available, too numerous to list. Go to their site to see the myriad types available.
I am a Haynes fan and I think the manual for my '09 Ford F150 is great! I've used it to do all kinds of jobs so it's paid for itself about 5 times over.
surprised you could do any thing that is connected to electrical systems as there wiring diagrams only cover up to 06 and what about the 6 speed tranny and what about the 4.6-3 eng. ect, ect,.as the 09 is almost fully electrical controlled one way or another.
