Does anyone know if the coolant tube/hose under the intake manifold and behind the water pump is present on both Windsor and Romeo 4.6L engines? I have a Windsor and am wondering if its a tube or a hose. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

 

It is a coolant tube.

I'm pretty sure they are the same. When I have to replace mine I'll make one out of hard copper and soldered copper pipe fittings. I don't like pressed in coolant lines. I made my heater lines that way for my '68 GT500 KR because they were so ugly and got in the way of other things on the engine. That cleaned up the appearance a lot with no loss of efficiency.
