Who makes / sells the preferred replacement headgasket for these engines?

only ones i have ever seen mentioned are victor reinz and felpro.

Ford or IH for factory replacement parts. Felpro or victor-reinz for aftermarket.
Are factory replacements any better? Prolly not. But they're typically much higher priced.
Felpro and victor reinz are among the most preffered aftermarket brands, regardless of what engine you are dealing with.

I bought the Head Gasket Kit from my local Carquest with no knowledge on brands.
It was Victor Reinz, and my truck has been running great since the install about 15 months ago...first week of January 2010.
My truck doesn't get babied either
