I just bought a 99 f350 4x4 that has a blown 5.4l engine. I was wanting to know what I could do to swap this motor with a 400 or 351? both of these motors are easy to get my hands on. The price of a used 5.4l is crazy. Someone help me out. thanks

 

Frankly, the swap you are thinking about can turn ino an expensive nightmare quick if you don't have a lot of experience with engine swaps. You will be better off just biting the bullet and finding a running 5.4 on C/L or a bone yard.
