Leak under brake pedal

I have a small leak of oil like fluid under the brake pedal. Has anyone had this problem and what did Ford do to fix it.

Yes, noticed the fluid a couple of weeks after I got the truck (May 2010), wipe it off the weatherbeaters and nothing else has leaked on it since. Never did figure out what it was, but, I haven't noticed any adverse affects.

Wipe it off, if it doesn't come back it was probably some type of assembly lube. If it comes back it's probably a master cylinder/hydroboost leak.

I think I have the answer to this. I had the very same problem, went to the dealer and they showed me were it was coming from. It's the adjustable pedals. Theirs a small black box attached to the adjustable slide and where the tubing goes into it is where the leaks was. It was caused from heat from the heater which makes the viscosity change. They think it was overloaded with this clear oil and once winter passes and the slide is used several times it will go away. This is what Ford told them. Anyhow, the problem no longer exist.

Same exact thing on my truck. I got under there when I saw it to see where it was coming from. Adjustable pedal cable.

Thanks for the info. I cleaned the oil several months ago and it took it several months to reappear.

Supposedly, my dealer fixed this issue last fall. Now it is leaking it again. There is fluid dripping down on my rubber mat again.

Also, I've got this crazy squeeking noise around the driver side of the dash that only squeeks when the truck is "on". It's driving me crazy.
