Battery that takes a beating

I'm looking for a Racing battery for my VW sandrail as any generic one seems to be getting bounced around a little. I've got proper battery boxes, but just the intense bumps and jumps, i'm sure it doesn't like it. I've gone through 3 batteries in this thing last year. I've been looking into Optima's line but don't know anything about them and there a little expensive. Are Optima's worth it or does anyone have any other suggestions?? Please help!!

Any gel battery should work for what you need I'd think.

Yes what he said. It does not have to be an optimabut you will want a sealed gell battery.

I really like the Odyssey batteries and run one on my motorcycle. The only reason i run the Oprimas on my trucks is I get a super discount on them

I don't have any personal experience with either company, but hear nothing but good things about them. I'm doing alot of re-wiring and cleaning up the mess of wires the PO left behind. Should help a little with my starting issues. Thanks for the good feedback on the Odyssey brand! I'll be sending away for one as soon as I can afford it.
