IPR/VGT electrical connector 911 HELP

One of the wires to the VGT solenoid broke off virtually flush with the connector last night. I have the pigtail part number for Ford and IH but being Sunday there are no dealerships in this area that are open and since this is my only means of transportation I need to find some kind of alternative to repair it. I can't find a motorcraft alternative part number and wonder if anyone knows of ANYTHING else that this plug might be available on (7.3 injector????) or have a motorcraft number for it?

Well.....kinda, but being that my injectors are quite a bit larger than stock the EGT's come into play really fast. I'll just have to wait until tomorrow and get one ordered as I doubt that the dealership even keeps one in stock. I'll probably just order it online and save major $$$ getting it.

I haven't looked at the connector in quite awhile, so this is probably dumb, but ....

Is there no way to "dig" at the connector plastic around the wire to expose enough to solder a small extension wire to it?

I have been trying to locate a 6.0L in the local junkyards so I can get spare pieces like this - but there just aren't any yet - at least not locally. Do you have a few local junkyards?

tim a 7.3 injector connecotr will work fine. its just missing the weather pack. I have a used one here at the housing laying around. wanna come by and pick it up?

if you have to also you can find a crip connecor and stuff them in for a temp fix. just make sure they dont short out against each other. if they do you get a p0046 (iirc) and no boost.

also the blue wire goes closist to the firewall.

I'll search for a 7.3 injector connector today and order the correct connector. There is absolutely nothing to crimp on to. The blue wire broke off flush at the plug. Oh well......I can idle to the store and back. No one in this town works on sunday except china mart and micky d's types. It does have a nice exhaust rumble all the time now--LOL.

I gotcha....I split the connector and had enough wire to splice together until I get to order a new connector. Up and running again.....

I'll search for the ECT/EOT connectors we talked about IF they even exist. Don't let me forget. In fact, send me the sensor part numbers.....that will help.
