Because of the drop in the quality of rebuilt parts, a lot of guys are finding the 'slop' they had before a s/box change is the slop they have afterward. Many rebuilders with simply replace seals and paint the 'rebuilt' part.
When my box goes out, I will use a company called 'redheads'. I have heard from forum members about their quality. Google them.

Hey F250-restorer, I did as you said and googled "redheads" I am so glad I followed your advice because this is what I found. How did you know I like reds?
