Change of plan and some questions.....
So my 2006 crown vic fell through guy flaked on the deal and I am now going down a different route. Im 100% commited now to a TCI front IFS that should be here SAT. I also ordered a Ford Racing 340HP 306 and a TCI AOD now its just a matter of me tracking down a 3.55 gear ratio explorer rear diff and im set. Everything so far is brand new from pulleys to tail shaft of the the tranny. I do have a question I want to order some wheels but not quite sure on the back spacing Im looking at the nascar rim and was wondering if anyone else has this IFS and rear end setup and what kind of back spacing they used. Will be throwing up some pics from this comming weekend.
couple more ?s to throw out there.
Any recomendations on replacement instrument cluster I prefer guages not digital?
Any info on good seat donors or possible place to get brackets for Corbeau seats?
Also any header suggestions would be great im trying to get all the purchasing done so I can get to the fun part assembly headaches.
Hopefully when this thing is done I plan on having that looks similar to what the truck from the expendables looks like. Well thanks and any suggestions or added words of advice is appreciated.

Depending on where you are in California....these guys are a pretty good source for the Explorer rear end:
Santa Clara Truck Wreckers
If you want the Expendable look, you could also search for a 9" Ford rear end. There are plenty of them around, and these guys can help you with parts or rebuild services (they are one of the better rear-end shops out there).

That "home" link is for Rearend Specialties.....I'm not sure why it pasted in like that.

These are the gauges I'm going with...
Auto Meter 880087 - Auto Meter Ford Racing Analog Gauge Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com
Still trying to decide on the insert to put them in. I might just make my own.

And this was the insert I was leaning towards if I don't create my own.
