Planing outdoors.....

Now that's an idea ......

If you look in the lower right, that's my 18' flatbed trailer being used to stack the pieces as I run them through by the batch.

Those black contractor bags next to the planer are all wood shavings. Rather than hook up the dust collector system with that big planer, I just shovel them into the bags. The neighbors come by for the shaving for chicken bedding, so we rarely buy eggs.
Of course, being winter Edith is now parked in that bay.

I was just searching for something and found my old post, SoI figured I would give everyone an update on the 52 F-6.

Today the truck looks exactly as it did in that first picture from Feb 15th this year

I still need to attach the script stakebed to the rails...

Dang time flys to fast. I do however have the cab in the paint booth currently. and started going through all the small in cab parts to get them ready for reassembly.
Also have the Engine mostly ready to go back in.
So I need to get busy

Maybe another year and I'll have her together. Never GIVE Up!

Here's the engine and my boy helping me take the cab apart.

The tongue provides additional torque.

Maybe if you stopped tracking down more trucks and parts to drag home you'd have your F6 done by now.

Ya I love that he sticks his tongue out when he's concentrating on something, He cracks me up!

And your so right, I would have my F6 done by now if I would stop getting distracted by other project trucks and cars etc. but only if i had an endless supply of project money coming from somehwere
