Put a little to much transmission oil in and my truck leaked out tranny oil throgh the torgue convertor plastic cap and landed on exhaust system and caught fire. Anyone know what the cause and fix is?
Gotta be a troll, but still...... it's in the Super Duty/Heavy Duty Forum if you need some light reading today.

I am under welmed by your concern for my health however I have survived nicely from possible burns from the flaming i get by extinguishing it with the Kool Aid I have been storing since I was a naive teenager believing Ford could do no wrong. Since then I have come to know all products have issues including Ford. I dont blame the techs, as many on here do, they have to fix the issues created by the manufacturers. Hope is just an isolated issue.
I wonder if he's aware of East Jesus....

And, if hope is an isolated issue, how does he feel about change?!?!

OK, when you say "F700", naturally, grocery getter and commuter come to mind. After this post, "compensating" comes to mind:

can someone please give me some more info about my truck,

its a 1987 f700 6.6 diesel 5 speed single speed rear end with air breaks....................

are there any other rear end gears available that are a more a "street able ratio" like 410 ish and are there any lift kits avalible lol making it a dayley driver any other info welcome......................

A failing mark in spelling and English come to mind as well.....

The lift kit part kills it. But I could see the gear ratios.. I've seen many around here that never tow heavy, but carry a lot of tools. Personally, I'd like the higher gears for the torque, but to each his own...

I've seen some mall crawler F650's before though. Its disgusting.

Hey guys, I've got a 05 w/ the 5.4L. I've have a fuel maxx chip i go off ebay for a while and wanted to get more performance. I was recommended to port and polish the intake and exhaust. We found out they used abrasive material to do it like gritty sand. So I got with my friend that tunes toyotas and we decided to try it ourselves. We got a bag of sandblasting sand and hooked up into the intake and started the truck. He wanted to let the engine suck in the sand through the intake so it would port it out and then push it out the ehxaust so it would port the exhaust manifold.
I was worried that it might cause problems but he figured it'd be ok. After running the car and letting it suck in sand we got about half way through a 25 lb bag. The check engine light was on and the engine was bucking and kicking and sounding really weird. We stopped and hooked the car back up normal and took off the sand supply. We tried to start it again and it was really hard. Once started it couldn't idle and kept making weird noises. We took it out and drove it and it started to make scraping and knocking noises.
Help! Can anyone tell me what to do! My buddy only does toyotas so he doesn't know much about fords.
Don't feed the troll
