With nearly 23,000 miles on my 2011 FX4 Super Crew Ecoboost with max tow package and 3.73 rear axle, I can give some figures from my experiences
Normal daily driving gives me a pretty solid 20 MPG. Extended interstate driving at posted speed limits, results in 23+...I've seen as high as 24.5 on one tank full.
I trailer my Mustang to track events. 21ft., tandem axle flatbed trailer and the Mustang weighs approx. 3500lbs. Towing the Mustang at posted speed limits on several 800 mile round trips netted 14.5 MPG.
Love this Ecoboost FX4 and still impressed with it every time I drive it. Haven't found much to complain about and will not hesitate to buy another one just like it!

True life vs true lie🗿 My 2011 EB gets 15-16 avg with me driving. My other half gets 18- 19.5 avg.
note to self TAKE your FOOT out of IT🤘🏼
Something sounds wrong there. Every report that I have read said that it was easy to obtain over 20 on the hwy. The Ford rep's driving the trucks across the country for the test drives were reporting mid 20's. Either you didn't reset it properly or something is wrong.
