Gov't Mule - TTC 2011 Need your vote
I own the Gov't Mule that was in the "Four Wheeler" magazine Top Truck Challenge back in 1999. It has been wheeling all this time and is a true Ford truck with a full frame still being used. Ford engine, transmission and two transfer cases however the axles are now rockwells.
Just wanted to post up and ask for fellow Ford enthusiasts to vote for us if you get the Four Wheeler magazine.
I would love to show them an old Ford big block and 4 speed can take on the newer fuel injected all aluminum engines with automatics.
currently getting the Rockwell axles installed:
what it looked like at Christmas before I pulled the axles out:

Thanks.
Not many rigs last long once they become dedicated trail rigs. This one was built right and has been wheeling hard since it got its newer body in 99. Previously it was a 79 Bronco. If this one ever gets trashed who knows what Ford body could go on it next?
