Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in SD?

The title pretty much says it. I'm looking for a good mechanic in San Diego that knows what they're doing when working on a '95 Powerstroke.
Thanks in advance.

Have you heard about Bud @ ocdiesel? I heard he's really good with powerstrokes.

I've had my truck for over 10 years, and I gave some thought to buying a newer one, but have since decided to keep this one. So, I thought I'd have it scanned for codes, and have the O-rings and glow plugs replaced to prevent future trouble. Other than getting it scanned for codes, it's the kind of thing I did myself when I lived in Seattle, but down here I don't have a suitable workspace, nor time, to do it.

OC Diesel Shop (the one that Bob mentioned already) is a great place, but it's in Mission Viejo: OC Diesel Shop - The Official Home of Bud Anderson and the OC Diesel® Family.

Diesel Tech in San Jacinto is a great place also: Welcome To DieselTech1.Com

Sorry I don't know of anywhere closer to you.

I agree with Steve and Bob.

I've been to Diesel Tech in San Jacinto, their top notch. That's all they work on are PSD's. A place you can trust. Also heard great things about OC Diesel but never been there. Good Luck!

Go to Drew Ford in La Mesa, ask for Mike Kezele, Master Tech with thirty years exp. Owns and does a lot of 7.3 PSD"S. Also a fisherman.

Thanks for the tip Nick 99, but I didn't see it in time. I found that Miramar Ford knows what they're doing, too.
I didn't ask if they're fishermen or not, though. That might be the tie breaker. ☺
