Need help finding heater control valve

I have a 73 P400 and need to find a heater core control valve. So far not finding any exact replacements. Given its age and being a P400, wondering if I just need to find something that works, thats not original/custom.

Not sure how to know if something will work or not. I'm guessing they are fairly standard functionally? Do I just look for any that are cable actuated and have 4 ports? Below is a photo of what I have.

Here are a couple valves I found online that I'm wondering if one of them might work?

Your best contact on this forum is probably Number Dummy (Bill). He's good with Ford parts, part numbers, and sources. That valve is completely different from my F series. Either of those you found "might" work, but it's difficult to tell without more information. If you could have them in your hands and compare to yours it would be a lot better. As a minimum, be sure that the on/off function works as does yours. (cable pull = on; or cable push = on). I tried the Four Seasons catalog, but it only showed a P-100 and a P-350, and I didn't know what engine you had. 4 Seasons | English Best wishes.

Thanks for the link! Most part sites don't show a P400 until 75. I have the 6 cylinder 300ci.

I might PM Number Dummy. I'm not sure its a Ford part though as the heater core and rest of heater setup are part of the custom van body. I couldn't find it in the MPC.

I might just need to purchase the cheaper ebay one and compare it to mine as you suggested and see if it operates the same way. I believe this type of valve recirculates coolant back to engine when it is "off", rather than simply blocking flow and letting coolant circulate/bypass in the block.
