Hey guys!

Good news, went back to the drawing board to find out I was off about 6 or more teeth and some wires on my cap were in the wrong place. 8 was on 6 and 5 on 7 etc. As soon as we set the timing and crossed the wires back she started up!!! We left the dist a little loose to play with advance timing but I'm going to buy a new fuel pump this weekend along with fuel lines to install.

Found out the little electric fuel pump couldn't feed a ford pinto gas yet alone mine so I'm going to use it to suck out the gas and air the tank out for the week I'm gone on vacation. Come back and hook it up with new gas and an octane booster and new fuel lines. This should cure the problem up fast! Then I can tighten down my dist and watch her work (hopefully)

Excellent! Now on to more fun stuff. (I hate trouble shooting)

BTW, don't be knocking Pintos. They had a lot of room under the hood:

I agree don't knock the Pintos, I would probably still have mine if it hadn't vaporized (RUSTED)......

I have an SROD from a Pinto just begging to be scrapped. But I keep it anyway, just in case.
