Owner's manual says the high current fuses are located in the engine department. Well, if they are, they hide them prettied damn good. Apparently they are located under one of the batteries, but which one? Your help is surely appreciated. I need to replace a trailer marker fuse.

 

should be behind the degas bottle. Power distribution box.

BTW - folks if you have to change a fuse in this box the part/object on top of the fuse box, is released via thumb screw, which either you to need to have small hands, or pliers. The clip of the fuse box is on front toward head light. Pull up and push it back.fficeffice" /><O></O>

 

I don't have small hands and have not had a problem with this.

 

Thanks for this thread. I too had no brake lights or turn signals on my 2010 F-250. Checked the fuse box in passenger compartment. Didn't realize there was also one under the hood. Owners manual doesn't have that one documented. :-) The fuse for the trailer is a 25amp mini. Just FYI.

Here is a picture of the fuse box under the other thing with the thumb screw on it.

 

Ford refers to the fusebox under the hood as the "Battery Junction Box - BJB", and the fusebox in the cab as the "Smart Junction Box - SJB". The item mounted over the underhood BJB is the vaccum pump that supplies vaccum to actuate the 4x4 hub locks.
