1977 f-150 restoration

hi, thanks for looking at this thread.
Several years ago i started a restoration project on my 77 4x4. I am at the point no where i need a desent body shop that has experience doing these trucks. I found one guy but he seems not to have any interest. I have money saved up for the job but im alm ost wondering if it would be worth it just go but anouth truck that already done. What do you guys think?

it is personal preference, how much you want to spend on either option, what are your plans to do with it? let it sit in the garage, show it, drive it? I know what you mean trying to find someone willing to work on it for you, i am in the same boat, i have my truck stripped thinking i had a body man then he screwed me, now i think i found another guy to do it. Do you want to add you own speacial touches on it? yes you can find nice trucks already fixed up that someone else is taking a loss on, but look it over real good to make sure it was done correctly, and no short cuts were taken.

I would have helped you out, but from southwest Missouri to Mass is a little far to go to work on a truck. Good luck with it.

Satin black will look real coool, theres one in my area done like that and he had some ghost flames incorporated into the job and its very unique.
Hell it gets more attention at the parking lots than a new truck
Go for it with the satin black and stick with it!!!
